At NYC Comic Con, DC announced 3 new titles:
- A new Superman series by Jim Lee and Scott Snyer
- Justice League of America
- A new Geoff Johns/David Goyer
Add to this list Threshold, the previously announced Green Lantern spin-off, and we have 4 new titles coming in 2013.
Yesterday we learned that, to make rom for these titles, we'll be saying goodbye to 4 current titles with their 17th issues in January 2013:
- Blue Beetle
- Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E.
- Leigon Lost
- Grifter
I've only read one of the four outging titles, and I wasn't impressed (Legion Lost = cool idea, uninspired writing). I heard Frankenstein was good, but that the other two were "meh". So overall it sounds like we're getting a good trade here. At least until Jim Lee leaves Superman after issue 6 or so...
