So much news was broken at NYC Comic Con over the weekend. If you weren't keeping track - here's some of what you missed:
Coulson lives! - at least, on TV. "No, we have no idea how it's going to happen either..."
Bendis to relaunch Gaurdians of the Galaxy in February - "Bendis reestablished the Guardians of the Galaxy with a line-up that included most of it's original members: The group's leader, the half-human, half-Spartoi soldier known as Star-Lord; Gamora, an alien assassin raised by Thanos; Drax, a human transformed into a super-powered warrior tasked with killing Thanos; the arboreal alien monarch Groot; the gun toting, highly-evolved raccoon known as Rocket; and the acrobatic insectoid thief and adventurer called Bug. The writer chose this particular cast because of his love for them as individuals, the bonds between them and the peripatetic life they lead."
"Arrow" Panel - Extend clip and spoilers!
A Firefly panel to promote a new TV special "Browncoats Unite" - There was a lot of talk about the men removing their shirts. At one point when Maher tells the audience to keep their pants on, someone shouted back “Take your shirt off,” which led to a “Take it off!” chant. Fillon then said, “Nothing says I respect your work like ‘Take it off.’
Bruce Campbell discusses his Evil Dead remake - in which he produces...but doesn't star. "We've got some really talented people who kicked their ass off. I know you fans were pissed. Don't think I didn't read about it every single day. Just wait and see the movie. I will accept all of your collective apologies. We don't want to screw this up. Even though I make fun of you fans relentless, we want to make you happy horror filmgoers."
A little more on the 7 new Avengers books that are part of "Marvel NOW!" - The Avengers, New Avengers, Secret Avengers, Avengers Assemble, Uncanny Avengers, Avengers Arena, and Young Avengers. (phew!)
Walking Dead S3 panel - After answering [a child's] question about whether there would be a raid at the prison like in the comic and “will all the crazy stuff happen?” (Kirkman says a lot of crazy stuff will happen), Kirkman added, “Also, you shouldn’t be watching this show.”
