If you're a video game geek (I am) and a comic book geek (I am), then this is a good time to be alive. In the past decade we've had Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Batman: Arkham Asylum, DC Universe Online, a killer Walking Dead game, and one cool Spider-Man game for every 200 Spidey games released. And coming soon we've got Marvel's Free-To-Play MMO, Marvel Heroes.
And just when you thought it couldn't get any better...yesterday DC announced their own free to play game - Infinite Crisis, a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Batle Arena) game, will be coming soon.
If you've played League of Legends, then you know the type of game I'm talking about. If you haven't...a MOBA is a game where you and 4 of your friends (or perhaps 4 complete strangers) team up to battle 5 opponents. Each of you (likely) has a different class/set of abilites, so everyone brings something unique to the battle.
The trailer above gives you some idea of what gameplay will be like, but watching a trailer isn't as much fun as playing in closed beta! You can sign-up here to volunteer to be among the first to check it out. DC will (randomly?) pick some names out of a hat and then BAM - you're in! Good luck!
